I have written for Reuters, the Los Angeles Times, the Los Angeles Daily News and Capital & Main. I have two decades of experience in reporting, editing and assigning stories in Los Angeles.

I joined Reuters in 2008 and made valuable contributions to several teams at the global news wire, most notably the U.S. general news team where I focused on issues such as politics, poverty, immigration and mass violence. I proved adept at coordinating on stories with colleagues around the world, such as South Korea and Vietnam. I also held positions with teams covering entertainment, technology and the media industry.

Major stories I have covered include the housing crisis in Los Angeles and the early years of the marijuana legalization movement in states such as Colorado and Washington. I also wrote profiles on entertainers such as Denzel Washington and William Shatner and once rescued Jeff Bridges' guitar from a mudslide in Santa Barbara County.
